Product Overview
This second-level heavy-duty kit is designed to enhance load-carrying and towing capability without resorting to an excessively stiff rear spring. It suits vehicles where rear ride height and handling change significantly with payload such as those fitted with canopies, drawer systems, tools or water tanks that vary from empty to full.
The supplied Air Assist bags install between the rear leaf springs and chassis rails and are inflated with a standard airline when heavily laden to help restore correct ride height. An on-board air option is available separately (kit 499000). The ~40 mm lift sharpens stance, improves clearance and can accommodate larger tyres where permitted and within vehicle clearances.
Foam Cell Shock Technology
Foam Cell shock absorbers use a special foam saturated with oil instead of relying on pressurised gas. This design prevents aeration and cavitation, keeping damping forces stable across the full stroke. With greater oil capacity and improved heat dissipation, they resist fade, control temperature, and deliver reliable performance even under demanding use. Their durability makes them well suited for heavy-duty, towing and off-road applications.
Installation & Compatibility
Ezifit struts arrive pre-assembled with shock, coil spring, new top mount, bump stop and protective boot no spring compressors or re-use of worn parts required. After installation, a professional wheel alignment is recommended to optimise tyre wear and steering response. If your vehicle operates continuously at maximum payload, consider an extra heavy-duty alternative (e.g., kit 803241).
