Job description: Lead Vehicle Installation Engineer
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm

Storm Xccessories Ltd, has a fantastic opportunity for a vehicle installation engineer to join our team.
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual, who has experience of working in a fast-paced garage style environment, achieving targets, and have good written and verbal communication skills.
What will you be doing ? :
As a Vehicle Installation Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring our customers leave Storm Xccessories Ltd, with a high standard of service and a high-quality product. You will be responsible for a consistent day to day delivery of high-quality installations for our products, and our customers vehicles.
Teamwork is a key element in this role, in ensuring the correct products are being installed on the correct vehicle, always. High quality work for our customers is expected.
Duties Include :
· Responsible for a consistent day to day delivery of high-quality installations of components, which include but not limited to, Hardtops, Roll Covers, Wheels, Suspension, Electrical Components etc.
· Providing high customer service standards to all internal and external customers.
· Working closely with other teams to ensure a high-quality product and service are delivered to our customers.
· Promoting a safe working environment by adhering to H&S procedures.
Essential Criteria:
· Literate and Numerate.
· Experienced electricians, capable of working on vehicle electrical systems
· Experienced Mechanical knowledge
· Capable of reading wiring diagrams.
· Experience of routing and connection of various cable types
· Fault-finding techniques.
· Health and Safety knowledge
· Proven ability to work as part of a team.
· Ability to work on own initiative.#
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Leadership skills.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Flexible and adaptable
· Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Criteria:
· Previous experience in customer service to ensure an understanding of the importance of our customers, and our service delivery.
· Fully time served automotive electrician.
· Extensive experience of vehicle electrical systems within an automotive environment
· Experience of vehicle mechanical systems within an automotive environment
· Knowledge of industry regulations (desirable)
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft office (desirable)
· Competent in the use of mobile tablet, laptop and other equipment
